MRS. COMPTON CALLED HOME

Funeral services for Mrs Mary E. Compton, 75, Somerville 2, will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Union Church of Christ, east of Hartselle. Rev Frank Andrews officiating. Interment will be in Antioch cemetery, Drinkard's of Hartselle directing.

Mrs Compton died Sunday at 10:30 pm at the home of her son, H. Compton in Hartselle. The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 1:30 pm Tuesday for the church.

She was a member of the Union Church of Christ for a number of years.

Nephews will act as pallbearers and nieces will be in charge of flowers.

She is survived by three sons, H. Compton, Hartselle; Millard, Decatur; Paul, Sumiton; five daughters, Mrs Myrtle Riley, Birmingham; Mrs Ellen Eddy, Somerville 2; Mrs Olive Simpson, Hartselle; Mrs Marie Fowler, Decatur; Miss Ruth Compton, Somerville 2; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and George Bailey.
