Oscar Belew Passes Away Saturday Night
Oscar Belew, age 37, died Saturday night at 11:30 at his home after a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted at Bethel Church Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock by Rev. Frank Smith, Rev. John D. McClanahan and Rev. Toone and interment was made in the Bethel Cemetery with Peck in charge.

Mr. Belew is survived by his widow; two sons, William Arthur and Alvin Jackson; one daughter, Audrey Mae; two brothers, Tom Belew and Clarence Belew, both of Birmingham.

The deceased served in the army during the World War and was well known over Morgan County where he had lived all his life. He was a devout member of the Baptist Church.
