Funeral for Edward Junior Atkins, 70, of Dundee, Florida, formerly of Priceville, was Saturday, October 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Cave Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. James Gary Peebles and Houston Peebles officiating.
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Hartselle with Priceville Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Atkins died Thursday, October 16, 1997, at his residence. He was a native of Morgan County and a roofer. He was retired from Waverley Growers in Dundee.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Crow Atkins of Dundee; two sons, Dwight David Atkins of Lake Hamilton, Florida and Eddie Lynn Atkins of Dundee; three daughters, Martha Atkins Massey of Hartselle, Mary Ann Taylor of Somerville and Tommie Joyce Clark of Danville: one brother, James (Buddy) Atkins of Somerville; one sister, Rosa Lee Lott of Moulton; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Grandsons were pallbearers.
