THOMAS ARNETT

Funeral services for Thomas Arnett, 79, 2004 Max Luther Drive, Huntsville, who died Sunday, June 30, 1985, at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville, were held Wednesday, July 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Carl Essmon officiating. Burial in Antioch Cemetery was directed by Peck.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sara F. Maxwell, Somerville; one son, Thomas L. (Pete) Arnett, Tallahassee, Fla.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Berniece McAnn, Huntsville, Estelle Williams, Hollywood Fla., and Bunola Simmons, Cottondale, Fla.; and two brothers, Orville Arnett, Hartselle and Clyde Arnett, Athens.

Pallbearers were Robert Allen, Ben Allen, LaFarris Hardin, Kenneth Payne, Cohen Maxwell and Rayburn Maxwell.

Mr. Arnett was a member of Copeland Presbyterian Church in Limestone County. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the National Blind Association.
