Location: Just west of Granberry Crossroads on the Headland-Columbia Road. About 8 miles east of Headland, AL on CR 134. Up the hill on the left from Cross Roads Grocery (old Granberry’s store) which at crossing of CR 55 and CR 134.

Grave has a bronze CSA marker erected by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Son of Mollie Mathis and Alvin SCARBROUGH Private, Company “F” 39th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Alvin was also a soldier of the CSA who died in Eufaula Alabama while on furlough, Jun 9, 1863. The SCARBROUGH’s came from Sumter County Georgia to Eufaula, Barbour County Alabama then moved to Henry County Alabama. [Source: Sue Webb]
