Runaway Marriages.

Cotts Bend takes the lead on runaway marriages and the lovers have been thinned out. Last Sunday Robert Wagnon and Miss Evia Hood, Walter Hood and Miss Emma Bates, Hunter Lowe and Miss Barbara Bates all decided that life was not worth living alone and apart, so they and a few friends, unbeknownst to their parents, left early for Centre, where the necessary words were said that bound them together for life. They all returned home, received the blessings of their parents and all are happy.
