Reeves, Ala., Jan. 5 - To the many readers of the TIMES-NEWS I will give a few of the events that occurred in Reeves beat during the holidays. At the home of Rev. F. M. Boozer, Rev. J. L. Marbut united in marriage Loney Harris and Miss Lizzie Boozer, and in the same room and at the same time, Rev. F. M. Boozer made Luther Marbut and Miss Susie Ford man and wife. All then repaired to the dining room, where a feast of good things was enjoyed. One the 4th, Rev. J. L. Marbut made happy Walter McMahan and Miss Lizzie Reaves. If Judge Lovejoy does not stop so much marrying flannel will go p and baby carriages be in demand. Wishing all a prosperous new year the Old Reb will close. J. L. MARBUT.
