James J. Campbell Buried Today

James Jackson Campbell, 77, Leighton route two, died Thursday night at 6:45 after a three
year's illness. Services were conducted this afternoon at the White Oak Methodist
church, with burial In MT. Zion cemetery. Rev. Warren Kicker, pastor of the church,
officiated.

Surviving are six sons, Claude, Theo, Will, Horace, all of Leighton route two, Howard,
Forest, both of Tuscumbia route two, two daughters, Mrs. Ethyl Robbins and Miss Irene
Campbell, both of Leighton: Three sisters, Minerva Quinn, Mrs. Lou Roden, of Leighton,
Mrs. Matilda Kent of Tuscumbia; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Active bearers were Johnnie Roden, Lydie Roden, Rufus Roden, Dudley Kent,
Eugene Campbell, Claude Quinn.

Brown Services of Tuscumbia was in charge of arrangements.
