Ruebin MATHIS - Peeks Hill, Alabama. Ruebin has been spelled many ways which has
made him hard to tract. I know that he applied for a Civil War pension in Feb,
1901 and approved in Aug, 1901. He is in the 1900 Peeks Hill census with wife,
Nancy, and children, James, Pleasant and Millie MATHIS. His entire family moved
to Oklahoma by 1910. In 1910, Nancy MATHIS, is listed a a widow, so Ruebin died
in Peeks Hill between 1901-1909 or died in route to Oklahoma. I cannot find a
death certificate or grave in Peeks Hill. Could there possible be an obit from
Peeks Hill or other info regarding Ruebin MATHIS
