Union Grove Cemetery is located in the Golden Springs area of Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama on the north side of Greenbriar Road between Golden Springs and Conger Roads. This cemetery was next to the Union Grove Congregational church on land donated by Joel E. Massey and his wife, Sarah. The church burned around the turn of the century. It is said there was a school in this location, too.
From I-20, exit 188; north on Golden Springs Road to Greenbriar; east on Greenbriar less than one block.
There are many unmarked graves in this cemetery.
Earlist marked grave is that of Rosa O. Couch who died 2 Apr 1880.
