The Students
We have found no exact total for the number of students that passed through the doors of Brushey Creek School during the time it was operational. A number of them were listed in the article by Mrs. Morgan, but there that many and more whose names were not mention. The photos that follow show just a few of the students.

These photos were found among some old photographs of the late Winnie Black, former teacher at Brushey Creek School. Only the date of 1940 was noted on the back of the photos. The children have yet to be indentified.
