ISAAC BLACKWOOD DIES NEAR CLEVELAND

Isaac Blackwood , of Cullman, died at the home of his uncle, Oliver Blackwood on route 2, Cleveland, Thursday, December 19th. Mr. Blackwood was on his way to visit his brother at Five Points who had suffered a stroke of paralysis several days previously, when he was stricken. He was found in a dying condition in his buggy about two miles from Cleveland and carried to the home of his uncle, Oliver Blackwood where he died without regaining consciousness. Surviving are the widow, of Tuscaloosa; two sons, Vernon Blackwood, of Cincinnati; V.C. Blackwood of Cullman; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Bates and Mrs. Evelyn Taylor, of route 6 Cullman; one brother, Asberry Blackwood, of Rt. 2, Cleveland; one sister, Mrs. Emma Tidwell, of Cullman, Rt. 4.
Funeral services were held at Five Points Church Friday, December 20th and were conducted by Rev. Whitt. Interment in Blackwood cemetery with Wade of Oneonta in charge.
